Access the Calendar within Compass by clicking on the
Calendar link in the top navigation menu.
Along the left-hand side, you have options available to filter what is being viewed.
The date can be manually selected.
A filter for appointment type, such as estimates, or callbacks.
A filter for the products being serviced or sold.
A filter for the market segment, either Residential or Commercial.
To enable or disable the entries on the calendar related to those employees, toggle the colored square next to their name.
Above the Calendar itself there is two interactive methods
of display and navigation.
The Scroll Buttons will display information on the calendar as set by the display filters. So if you have the filter set to Day, the scroll buttons will move back and forth day by day. If the display is set by Month, they will shift the calendar month by month.
Additionally, there is a quick link labeled “Today”. This will return the display of the calendar to the current time frame as specified by the filter, either day, week, or month as selected.
Each item on the Calendar can be moused over to display more information. As a default the Calendar appointments display time, title, customer information, contact details, service address, and total sale amount.
On the mouseover, a button to view the appointment is present, and a button to confirm is available on any appointment that has not yet been confirmed with the customer.
Additionally, each Calendar entry has a border displayed to differentiate between residential or commercial appointments.
Clicking the appointment on the calendar or the View Job button will open the relevant appointment information screen. An
Exclamation point denotes that the appointment has not been confirmed yet. | A
Checkmark means that the contact for the job has been called and the
appointment has been confirmed. | A
Box with two arrows across each other means that the customer is on the move up
list. |
The Calendar system in Compass refreshes every few seconds to reflect the most up to date information available when looking through the entries. This ensures that everyone is viewing the same information if you have multiple people looking over the calendar simultaneously.
